Conus vitulinus Hwass in Bruguière, 1792
The size of the shell varies between 30 mm and 11 mm. The shell is yellowish-white or creme with lines and spots.Conus vitulinus is a common, variable species found from the intertidal down to at least 16m on both lagoon and seaward reefs. It can be found under rocks or exposed in rocky or rubbly areas.
Like all species within the genus Conus, the Vitulinus Cone is predatory and venomous.
Diet: Polyachete worms mainly Family Eunicidae.
