Chrysiptera uswanasiis commonly referred to as Uswanas’ Damselfish. Difficulty in the aquarium: There are no reports available yet that this animal has already been kept in captivity successfully. A aquarium size of at least 400 Liter is recommended. Toxicity: Toxic hazard unknown.
Chrysiptera uswanasi, n. sp., the seventh member of the Chrysiptera oxycephala species complex of Pomacentridae, is described on the basis of 10 specimens, 24.7–45.3 mm SL, collected at the Fakfak Peninsula of New Guinea (West Papua Province, Indonesia).
