Lebt unter Steinen und in Spalten in bis zu 18 Meter Tiefe.
Zudem ist die Garnele in der Literatur als Fischputzer bekannt.
Wird super selten eingeführt und kommt daher kaum in den Handel.
Rein vom Verhalten her eher scheu, ein wenig wie Tanzgarnelen, die sich den ganzen Tag verstecken.
