Ctenogobiops tangaroai, Lubbock & Polunin, 1977
A goby that should be socialized with calm fish.
They live in symbiosis with various species of the genus Alpheus e.g. Alpheus thompsoni or Alpheus randalli.
Do not socialize with larger crayfish and bottom-dwelling fish.
The aquarium bottom should be made of coarse to fine sand.
Keeping without firecrackers is not recommended, but works in a tank with a delicate fish population.

A small night light also helps, as it provides the fish with a means of orientation in the dark!
