Mal with red caudal fin and very long extensions on tips

Adult fish usually live well below 20 meters.
The species was only discovered and described by Pyle and Randall in 2001.

It lives in harem communities with one dominant male and several smaller females and, like other members of the Labridae family, is a harem-forming species.
