Info

(Poey, 1860)

Neoniphon coruscum is an inhabitant of sheltered, seaward-facing reefs with sandy and rocky bottoms with coral growth.

During the day, the fish is well hidden in deep rocky reefs or in large coral stands; at nightfall, it begins its search for edible food organisms such as various crustaceans (shrimps, crabs, molluscs and krill).
