Lygdamis wirtzi Nishi & Nunez, 1999 - Devil Worm

This worm is a Sabellariid tube worm. The tube protects the worm from predators, because all polychaetes are soft-bodied.Lygdamis is a nocturnal filter feeder. The food of this worm consists of planktonic microorganism.
