Bulbonaricus brauni- Pugheaded pipefish
Bulbonaricus brucei C. E. Dawson, 1984
Bulbonaricus davaoensis - Davao pughead pipefish

Bulbonaricus brauni is a small eel-like reddish-brown pipefish with white dots over the body and a short white "pug-faced"( a dog breed) snout. Adult pipefish the dorsal and pectoral fins.It has a pointed frontal process. Bulbonaricus brauni lives amongst dendrophyllid corals.

Feeding intake.
The fish take a long time to eat at the beginning, before the food is taken up, a close inspection is carried out. After acclimatisation, the offered frozen food is eaten without problems. It should be noted that wild-caught fish behave differently than offspring when it comes to food intake. In the case of offspring, the size of the fish purchased also plays a role in the choice of food.

According to FishBase, Bulbonaricus brauni is only found around Tansamia in the western Indian Ocean.
