Very special thanks for the first photo of Apogonichthyoides uninotatus to Dr. Gerry R. Allen, Australia, he has taken the photo in the Triton Bay, West Papua, Indonesien.

Gerry Allen observed this cardinalfish in large aggregation around rocky outcrops with gorgonian fans and crinoids on steep slopes in a depthrange of 20 to 55 meters.
