Info

(Bleeker, 1854)

A beautiful species, but one that can hardly be kept in the aquarium for any length of time.
It does not live on light, but only on active feeding by the aquarist.

Difficult to keep and only recommended for experienced aquarists who already have experience with newer foods for filter feeders.

It also does not need light and, in addition to the tricky feeding issue, absolutely requires sufficient current.

In the sea, the gorgonian settles under overhangs or in underwater caves.
