Loxorhynchus grandis Stimpson, 1857

Large and slow moving. Sheep crabs with oval-shaped body tapers to spinelike points on its rostrum. Body with spines and bumps. Adult male sheep crabs have more formidable claws and longer legs than females.

Diet: carnivores, scavengers of bottom-dwelling organisms
