"Cyclop-Eeze® is a microorganism of the genus Copepoda (copepods), which is characterized by its blood-red color.
Cyclop-Eeze® contains the highest known proportion of the biological pigment astaxanthene, which ensures very good pigmentation and greatly improves the red coloration.
The product also contains the highest known proportion of unsaturated and omega 3 fatty acids.
Cyclop-Eeze® contain 40 times more omega 3 fatty acids than the best freshly hatched Artemia.
They are greedily consumed by all aquatic inhabitants due to their red axtaxanthene content as well as various natural attractants such as betaine and several amino acids.
The balanced ingredients make it not only one of the best rearing foods, but also a very good color and staple food for fish.
For some time now, it has been used as an additive in some very high-quality discus foods to enhance the red coloration of these fish.
Experimental test results from leading academic institutes in the USA have shown that Cyclop-Eeze® significantly strengthens the immune system of aquatic animals.

Cyclop-Eeze® are bred in an arctic, 400km2 salt lake in the north of Canada, completely isolated from any life.
This salt lake contains no fish, reptiles, amphibians or waterfowl due to its extreme water composition (very high salt content and a pH value of 3!) and climatic conditions.
During the warm periods, Cyclop-Eeze® feed exclusively on single-celled plankton, which is produced by the long hours of sunshine and an average water depth of only 2 meters in the Arctic summer (300 days of sunshine per year).
