Solche Muscheln dürfen nach dem Import keinesfalls direkt gefüttert werden. Das weghüpfen der Muschel ist ein Fluchtreflex,was der Muschel sehr viel Energie kostet. Langsames eingewöhnen ist wichtig , 1 - 2 Tage in Ruhe lassen danach kann langsam mit der Fütterung begonnen werden. Produkte mit Cyclope Eeze oder Spirulina sind hierbei nicht geeignet da diese zwar aufgenommen aber nicht verwertet werden können. Lebend Phytoplancton - Lösungen ( Mischlösungen ) sind hier die erste Wahl.
