Man findet die Scholle häufig in Prielen während der Ebbe. Dort kann man sie dann mit einem Kescher fangen. Im Aquarium sollte sie nicht über 18°C gehalten werden. Man kann sie gut mit Garnelen füttern. Sehr interessanter Fisch.
