The silver angelfish is only seen alive by a few divers, as its minimum depth is 60 meters.

Zenopsis conchifer is a slow swimmer that lives in small schools and has a somewhat bizarre appearance.

It is commercially hunted and is very tasty.

The slow predator's menu includes the glow-in-the-dark lanternfish (Diaphus dumerilii), the salmon herring (Maurolicus muelleri) and plenty of krill (Euphausia similis).
