Liparis florae (Jordan & Starks, 1895)

"florae" is named for Mrs. Flora Hartley Green, Stanford University.

Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Bering Sea coast of Alaska to Point Conception, southern California, USA.

The skin is slimy, therefore are called "snailfish".
