Haloa crocata (Pease, 1860)
Snails genus Haminoeidae lives in warm or temperate seas. They have a bubble shaped shell. Therefore it is called bubble snail. All Haminoeidae snails are herbivorous. Species feed on a various kinds of green algaes.
The Natal Bubble (Haloa crocata) can be found on Halimeda beds and bluegreen algae in lagoons and on shallow reefs. The shell is translucent yellow-brown, the living animal white with green and brown spots.
