Semicassis centiquadrata (Valenciennes, 1832)

Semicassis centiquadrata, commonly known as the Panamic Bonnet, is a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Cassidae, the helmet snails and bonnet snails.

Helmet snails are predatory snails (diet :Echinodermata).

The Panamic Bonnet have a globe-like shape. Some individuals have bands these are interrupted by ivory axial lines, yielding a pattern of squares (refer to ".centiquadrata").
