Hermissenda crassicornis (Eschscholtz, 1831)

This soecies feeds on hydroids, but also includes small sea anemones, bryozoans, colonial ascidians and other molluscs.The main diet is the sea pen Ptilosarcus gurneyi.The nudibranch Phidiana hiltoni attack Hermissenda crassicornis.The copepod Hemicyclops thysanotus is often found on the dorsal surface of Hermissenda.

Similar to Hermissenda opalescens.The white stripes on the cerata, that makes it a Hermissenda crassicornis!
