Austruca is a genus of indo-west Pacific fiddler crabs in the family Ocypodidae. Austruca was formerly a subgenus of Uca, but in 2016 it was elevated in rank to genus.
The most of fiddlers occur in mangroves or along the shore,estuarine, burrowing in mud.
The fiddler crab Austruca occidentalis is a dominant species in mangrove forests along the East African coast.
