Menaethius orientalis (T. Sakai, 1969)

Menaethius orientalis is closely related to Epialtus sulcirostris Stimpson from the Gulf of California, Mexico. The carapace is elongate pentagonal in outline. The rostrum is triangular with its apex prolonged into a process directed obliquely downwards and its lateral borders set with hooked hairs.
