Gnathophyllum precipuumis commonly referred to as Hawaiian cave shrimp. Difficulty in the aquarium: There are no reports available yet that this animal has already been kept in captivity successfully. Toxicity: Toxic hazard unknown.
Unfortunately, there is very, very little concrete information about this bumblebee shrimp.
It is only known that it lives as an endemic in the waters around Hawaii in underwater caves, we could also find only two data about a possible water depth, 10 meters and 12 meters.
Information about the size or the diet of the species is also missing.
It would be great if some hints from our users would help to complete the missing information.
