Info

Lamellaria ophione Gray, 1850

Lamellaria is a species of small, slug-like sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Velutinidae.

This Lamellaria is an effective mimic of an orange sponge colony. It is on a cluster of Didemnum colonial tunicates that probably constitute its food source.
