Doriprismatica balut Matsuda & Gosliner, 2018
A new described nudibranch was described from Maricaban Strait, Mabini (Calumpan Peninsula), Batangas Province, Luzon, Philippines and several other localities in the Philippines.
Doriprismatica balut is characterized by the whitish-brown body. The mantle has a whitish median region, merging into diffuse orange-brown near the margin. There is a thin black marginal band, and another thin yellowish submarginal band. The rhinophores are tan, with a thin black line on their posterior face. The gills are tan with dark greyish (charcoal gray) edges. The foot is mottled white.
