Rhinophores and oral tentacles are in many specimens basally translucent orange, followed by a broad white band, and a translucent purple band, the outer third is translucent. The body background colour is translucent orange, often with irregular large whitish patches. There is a purple ring at the cerata.The purple line down the center of the dorsum.
Feeds on hydroids.
