Info

Runcina africana Pruvot-Fol, 1953

The body is very dark brown in colour with two cremy-white lines on the dorsum. It grows to approximately 3,5 mm in length. Little is known of the biology of this species, but we can assume, that like other runcinids it is a herbivore feeding on filamentous green algae.
