Polydorella smurovi Tzetlin & Britaev, 1985

Spionid worms (Polydorella smurovi) build thin mucous tubes on th surface of the sponge, with a density of 5-10 specimens per square cm.Reproduction is asexual.

Etymology The species is named in honor of Dr. A.V. Smurov, organiser and head of the 9th cruise of the R/V Academic Petrovsky, during which the species was collected.
