Very special thanks for the first photos of Coryphopterus punctipectophorus to Joyce & Frank Burek from the United States of America.
Joyce & Frank Burek are very famous marine photographer, they have taken these photo of the rare and endangered wrasse iFlower Garden Banks, NMS Texas.

Coryphopterus punctipectophorus is a widely distributed species, it is not well-known, but can be common where it occurs in silty bottoms near reefs.
In some regions the Spotted gobyis is common on hard bottom habitats.

Jumping guard
A jumping guard prevents (nocturnal) fish from jumping out.
Wrasses, blennies, hawkfishs and gobies jump out of an unprotected tank in fright if their night rest is disturbed, unfortunately these jumpers are found dried up in the morning on carpets, glass edges or later behind the tank.

A small night light also helps, as it provides the fish with a means of orientation in the dark!
