Arctonoe vittata (Grube, 1855)

Commensal with many invertebrates, including sea stars, terebellid polychaetes and gastropods.

Inhabit Diodora aspera,Cryptochiton stelleri,Dermasterias imbricata, Henricia leviuscula, Luidia foliata, Pteraster tesselatus, Solaster stimpsoni, Solaster dawsoni, Haliotis kamtschkana ,Thelepus crispus and Neoamphitrite robusta.

Size : 10 cm

Arctonoe vittata is carnivores, but do not feed on the animals with which they are symbiotic.
