Cerberilla chavezi Hermosillo & Valdés, 2007

Sea slugs genus Cerberilla are seldom seen, because they live in sandy ore muddy ground.Cerberilla nudibranch have a broad foot,very long and numerous cerata across the body.The oral tentacles are extremely long, almost two-thirds the body length.This nudibranch feed on various sea anemones.

C.chavezi is named for Roberto Chavez in honor his assistance during fieldwork and suggested dive sites.

Cerberilla chavezi is a sea slug from the Tropical Estern Pacific.

The background colour is a translucent wine red, in the middle of the body darker than the edges and on the foot.

The food is cream-yellow edged. The oral tentacles are translucent purple with a pinkish base. The very long rhinophores are translucent pinkish-red with a cream tip.

The cerata are translucent pinkish with an opaque cream yellow line. There is a reddish brown patch on the middle of the cerata.Cerata with a cream yellow tip.
