Info

Cynarina cf. lacrymalis is probably a species of its own, so far known as Acanthophyllia deshayesiana, but this is a synonym for Cynarina lacrymalis.

Cynarina cf. lacrymalis should be provided with adequate spacing to other corals because it can expand to twice its size but is it not aggressive. It is easy to maintain in the reef aquarium and makes an excellent choice for both the beginner or advanced reef aquarist. It requires a medium light level combined with a low water movement within the aquarium. The best place for the Cynarina is on the ground of the aquarium.. For continued good health, it should be fed meaty foods such as micro-plankton or brine shrimp at night.
