Hemisquilla californiensis Stephenson, 1967

Hemisquilla californiensis is a Mantis shrimp in the family hemisquillid mantis shrimps.

Brown in colour with blue walking legs and antennules, yellow raptorial appendages and blue uropods with red setae. Adult males have red patches on carapace.

It is a predator. This mantis shrimp eat most crustacean, mollusks, echinoderms.
